Fat Bike Rentals

While Haymaker Nordic Center is closed for the season you can still get out on a fat bike.

Pick up bikes from the shoppe downtown.  There's still plenty of snow up on Howselsen Hill & Emerald Mountain. Or, head on up to Rabbit Ears Pass for some crust riding.

We also offer fat bike rentals during the summer months.  They're great to cruise around town or for hitting the Emerald Mountain or Buffalo Pass dirt trails.

for some winter time fun rent a fat bike!  Looking for a new winter-time adventure?  Try fat biking and pedal the snow - it's lots of fun.  We feature Borealis Fat Bike bicycles, 'America's premier brand in fat tire biking.'

Our downtown location at the corner of 7th and Lincoln will outfit you for riding up Emerald Mountain - located just steps from downtown - or any other fat bike adventure you fancy. Stop by the shoppe to rent a fat tire bike and get the insight.  We'll point you in the right way!

AGAIN for 2021/2022 are the single-track biking trails at the Haymaker Nordic Center.   We have teamed up with Haymaker to offer this winter time fun to Steamboat's guests and residents.  The Nordic Center has approximately 10 kilometers of bicycle-specific groomed trails. The rolling terrain is located in a panoramic setting with spectacular views of Mt. Werner and Emerald Mountain.  Haymaker is located a mile south of town on Highway 40; it's on the right side of the road immediately past the junction with Colorado Highway 131 as you travel towards Rabbit Ears Pass.  Look for the Nordic Center banners!
